You bought a music concert ticket. However, you are unable to go. So you offer the ticket to your friend.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
• Explain detailed the concert.
• Why you are unable to go
• How can your friend receive the ticket?
Dear Mike,
Hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to offer you the premium tickets of a music concert which I am unable to attend. Let me explain in detail.
To elucidate as spoken last time Coldplay is coming to our city for a musical concert. As this is the first ever concert of Coldplay in the India therefore it is a full house since they have a huge fan following in India. The concert starts at 2 pm on Friday at Meridian ground near ITC Sheraton. Although the event will start early I suggest you to go at 7 pm since you will have a premium ticket.
Though I was looking forward to attend this concert as Coldplay is one of my favorite bands but unfortunately I will be travelling to Japan for product launch thus unable to attend the music concert.Since you too are a die-hard fan of this band I believe this is a great opportunity to listen to live music and rejuvenate yourself. The tickets which I am offering has access to premium lounge from where you can have an unobstructed view of the artists playing. Additionally food and drinks are included in the price of the ticket. Lastly I suggest you to send me your email address so that I can email the ticket to you.
I look forward to your response and hope you enjoy the concert.
Regards
Ben
