You have a full-time job and you are also doing a part-time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your tutor. In your letter
• describe the situation
• explain why you cannot continue at this time
• say what action you would like to take
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter to explain the difficulty in managing the evening certification along-side my job due to a client project which is expected to be rolled out by the end of this month.
At present, I am working with a software house and leading a project whose go-live date is July 31, 2019. The client is US-based and due to the time difference, majority of the meetings are scheduled in the evening. Furthermore, if the project is successful, it will increase my chances of being promoted as Project Manager eventually boosting my career.
I have been managing my time until now to keep up with the classes and assignments along with my work but as the Project is in User Acceptance Testing phase which requires continuous follow-up with client, it will no longer be possible to continue the course at this point in time.
Therefore, I have decided to postpone the course and continue with the next batch. I would need your support and approval in this regard so that the efforts I have put in while attending classes and doing homework is not wasted.
Awaiting a positive response from your end.
Yours sincerely,
Shazia Iqbal
