You have a full time job and are also doing a part time evening course. You now find that you cannot continue the course.
Write a letter to your tutor. In your letter,
• describe the situation
• explain why you cannot continue at this time
• say what action you would like to take
Dear Sir,
This is in connection to the continuation of the part-time course at your college. I am a 1st-year student of the marketing course which runs alternate days in a week in the evening. I have recently been promoted in my job which requires me to relocate to another city.
I joined this course due to enhance my skills and it has really worked out well, I have been promoted with additional responsibilities but the company wants me to work at the client’s location in another city. I will not be able to continue the course and moreover, I have already completed all the semesters and it is only training part was left.
I would like to request to consider my new job as a part of the training and assess me for the same. I will be available for a one to one discussion which is a last exam of the course.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Thanking you
Yours faithfully,
Megha Gupta
