You have a problem with a neighbour.Write a letter to your neighbor. i your letter. Describe the problem. say how long it has been a problem.. Explain what action you want the neighbors to take

Hi John,

This is Jane your neighbor, I am writing you to bring into your attention towards the litter and garbage in front of our lane.

Let me explain further, from past one month your maid has been constantly disposing the garbage from your house in our garbage bin kept outside our house. As you might be aware each house should have a garbage bin which is absent from your house. Moreover, the waste overflows making our porch dirty and stinking. We have already requested her not to repeat this but she has turned a blind eye towards this matter.

Can you please make sure to discuss this issue with her and find a solution for this problem? . Why don't we buy a bigger waste box which could be used by us both? I would be happy to contribute, it is definitely better than starting the morning seeing litter all over and the bad smell.

Hope you will take actions on this matter as soon as possible.

Your's Faithfully
Jane.
