You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope.
Write a letter to the bank's head office. In your letter:
explain why you are writing
express concern about the missing card
ask them what they intend to do
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing in regard to the envelope with the debit card that you are supposed to have sent me a week ago.
Yesterday, I received your letter requesting me to acknowledge the arrival of the card. However, I have not received it yet. If the postman must have delivered it to my house, then this means that someone might have stolen it, and could use it to make on-line purchases at my expense.
It would be grateful, if you advise me what I should do in this case. Now I am getting worried about both my personal information and money in your bank. I believe that you should monitor my transactions to see whether someone attempts to buy something, such as a mobile phone or expensive car on my behalf. It would allow you to either block it immediately or locate the thief's whereabouts.
I would be thankful, if you call me with your plan of actions in case the card is missing. Besides, I cannot withdraw money from my savings account because of this unpleasant situation. Could you please send me another one? I look forward to you reply as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
Tolegen
