Essay topics:

You have received a letter from your bank, asking you to acknowledge receipt of a new bank card. However, the card was missing from the envelope.
Write a letter to the bank's head office. In your letter:
explain why you are writing
express concern about the missing card
ask them what they intend to do

Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing to notify you that I have received the package which contains a cheque book and a pin code of a bank card along with the account information, as was informed earlier. Unfortunately, there was no credit card in it.
It is intriguing that all the other documents related to the account are present but the card is missing. As the card has already been activated, I am concerned that if it lands in the wrong hands they might withdraw the funds present in the account which is all the hard earned money I accumulated over the years.
Therefore, I would request you to deactivate the card at the earliest possible in order to prevent any theft. Also, could you please cross check with your staff if they have misplaced the card by accident? If not, kindly issue a new card and notify me, when I can come over to collect the same so as to prevent the incident from recurring.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to hearing the measure that you would take.
Yours faithfully,
XYZ
