You have recently attended a job interview which went well, but you are still waiting for the decision. Write a letter to HR manager of the company and say
– Give details of the job.
– Why do you think the interview went well?
– Why do you need to know the result?
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing with regards to the interview that I recently attended at your organizing. It was an opening for the position of a team manager in the IT department to spearhead the new project and lead the 8 member team.
Let me explain my point of view of the interview. Firstly, even though my education background did not match the criteria, yet I was selected based on my team handling experience. Secondly, I answered all the questions with confidence, in addition to providing some useful insights on how to cut costs and increase company profits. Lastly, I have obtained all the necessary permissions and possess the required license to develop the new software. Moreover, this level of technology is in it's initial stages and very niche and therefore not many have access to it.
Could you please let me know the outcome because in my opinion the interview was a success? On the other hand, I have received a couple of offers from other companies and would need to know the result by end of today, leaving me free to consider other options.
I look forward to your reply.
Your sincerely,
Mary Smith
