Write a letter to an English-speaking friend. In your letter,
• explain why you changed jobs
• describe your new job
• tell him / her your other news
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any address.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear __________,
Dear Cyrus,
Hope you are well. I have been thinking of getting in touch with you for a long time. Due to my recent change of job and my transition to another city, I have been unable to contact you lately. Anyway, I am glad to finally write to you.
Two months ago, I received an offer from “The Big Group” in Delhi for the position of a PR Manager. They are paying better than my previous company and also allow me to conduct direct sales pitch to their clients. I really love the freedom of taking ownership of branding their products and contribute directly to sales. As of now, I am controlling the brand’s revenue of rupees ten crores.
There’s one more good news that I want you to know. I booked the Toyota Camry 2020 three weeks back and received the delivery yesterday. The car is extremely gorgeous and super comfortable to drive. I am also thinking of taking it for a long drive to Manali soon. I would be happiest if you can join me for the trip.
Do let me know if you have any similar plans. Hope to see you soon.
Regards,
Ahmed
