You have recently started work in a new company.
Write a letter to an English speaking friend. In your letter:
• explain why you changed jobs
• describe your new job
• tell him/her your other news
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write your own addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Anita,
I hope you are doing good. I want to explain you about the reason of changing my profession. I have got employment in another reputed company that is situated on the outskirts of the city and not away from my residence.
There are several sound reasons why i opted a another job for earning huge money. Firstly, i was not interested in my previous job as it was not relevant to my skills and abilities as well as taking responsibilities and job duties was like burden for me. Although i made a lot of efforts to discharge my duties, it was totally different from my areas of interest. Secondly, the office is not in proximity to my home so i have to travel for one hour everyday to come to work. That is why, i decided to seek a new job for me.
Now i have been selected by a trucking company as a office manager. I would really enjoy this work because i am excited to meet new customer daily and customer service is the important part of this job. Therefore, i chose this job. Also, as i mentioned before it is closer to my local area.
I would like to tell you that the company offered me a signing bonus and assure me provide chances of promotion after long years of service. I wanted to inform you about my new career. I hope you will receive my letter soon and write me back soon.
Warm wishes.
Sarbjeet
