You received a letter from your friend informing you about his elderly parents are coming to visit in your area and he is asking for your advise on
- which places they should visit
- where should they live
- Invite them to do something with you
Dear Mick,
How have you been? It has been a long time since we last met. I received your letter last week and was happy to learn that your parents will be visiting Alwar next month for a short trip. It will be my pleasure to offer guidance and advice to make their trip memorable.
As you are aware that Alwar was a princely state before its merger with the Union of India and has a rich cultural diversity. There are many forts which allure tourists globally but I would suggest to visit the most prominent ones "The Bala Qila" and the "The Moosi Maharani ki Chatri" apart from this "The City Museum" also houses art and cultural artefacts of its Mughal and Rajput rulers from the past. As you are also aware that Alwar is famous for its Tiger reserve so it is also a must go additionally I would suggest visiting the Silserh Lake which is on the outskirts of the city, the Silserh restaurant at the hilltop presents a panoramic view of the lake.
To make their visit more comfortable I would suggest hotels like The Lemon Tree, The Rajasthan Tourism Hotel which offers all modern amenities and is located in the centre of the city. On the weekend I can take them to the local markets where they can do some shopping as well as taste some local cuisine.
I look forward to your response and seeing them soon.
Best wishes
Ben
