You recently bought a piece of equipment for your kitchen but it did not work. You phoned the shop but no action was taken. Write a letter to the shop manager. In your letter
● describe the problem with the equipment
● explain what happened when you phoned the shop
● say what you would like the manager to do
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing with regard to the heatwave I bought from your shop two weeks ago.
The product seemed to be functioning well at first as I did not try the timer function yet. About 2 days later, my wife started to set the timer to heat up the foods and found out that it did not work at all. She set the time for 5 minutes but the machine did not stop or give any alarm resulting in our dinner ruined. I tried a few times afterward and could not get the function to work either.
I contacted your customer service last week and was told to restart my heatwave several times but the problem persisted. I called your service again and they said to send someone over to fix it. However, no one has shown up so far.
I have been a customer to your store for many years but I am very disappointed this time. Therefore, I am now demanding my heatwave to be replaced with a new one or a full refund to be made by your shop.
Kind regard
Truong Nguyen
