Dear Mrs. Hunt
I am just writing to inform you that a piece of information mentioned in your recent article in New York Times is incorrect. Consequently, I suppose that I should let you know, so you may make an appropriate amendment.
The article was titled “The extreme story of a murder” that was published last Sunday. Obviously, its content is about the story of a murderer who kill 3 people in the Jacob’s family.
I have known Jacob since we were studying at the same primary school, so I know almost everything about him and his family. Certainly, his mother was a teacher at our high school when the murder occurred. However, you wrote that she was an insane unemployment female before the incident. Hence, it may hurt my friend’s feeling one more time.
I oppose that this story is really sensitive because it was a tragic event. As a result, any inaccuracy in information may harm the victim seriously. This is reason why I am requesting you to correct it to make sure Jacob does not feel uncomfortable anymore.
I am looking forward to hearing the positive response from you soon.
Your sincerely.
Nam Vu
