You recently received a letter from a friend asking for advice about whether to go to the college or to try to get a job. You think he/she should get a job.
Write a letter to this friend. In your letter:
- say why he/she would not enjoy going to college.
- explain why getting a job is a good idea for him/her.
- suggest types of job that would be suitable for him/her.
Dear Sara,
How are you? I hope you've been well. Sorry for having been out of touch from you for a short while. I had a deadline at work and was a little bit busy finishing one crucial project.
I've been thinking about your request in making a decision since I received your letter. Undoubtedly, I can recommend you to get a job. I assume that you'll find college education significantly boring and uninspired. Especially considering, that you've already obtained a degree, I reckon that you won't enjoy attending college for the second time and will just waste your time.
In my opinion, you have all the necessary skills and abilities to get any kind of demanded jobs you want. However, I have a strong feeling that you should try yourself as a software developer or code architect. If you want to try yourself in one of these areas I can talk to John and he will find something suitable for you.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Warm wishes,
Simon.
