Write a letter to the manager of the restaurant. In your letter,
» explain why you were at the restaurant
» describe the problems
» write about the action you want the manager to take
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter to express my disappointment with the services of your restaurant on my visit with my family yesterday.
I booked a table at your restaurant to celebrate my brother’s promotion at his work. Therefore, I planned to give a treat to our family and end up visiting your restaurant.
Your place is one of the renowned places is our city, so my expectations were high. However, it does not meet with the fame of your name. To be more precise, the tandoori chicken we ordered was not fully cooked and the curry served to us was having soury texture. Other than uncooked and spoiled curry, I would like to point out customer service, the waiter was behaving kind of rudely.
Although the food was replaced, it is not good for the name of the hotel. As we live in a small city, these things spread fast and there is a strong possibility that you may lose customers. That is why, I would like to suggest that you might need to hire more chefs and also need to hire trained waiters. Other than that, everything is up to the mark.
I hope you may soon make said changes in your restaurant. I would like to be hearing from you soon with said changes otherwise you already lost a customer.
Yours faithfully,
Sheldon Cooper
