The reason why you need time off
When you need time off
Who should replace you when you are not around

Dear sir,
I am an employee of your company. This is to bring to your notice that I want to leave from my extra hours during work time to join my family function.
I have to go to my sister's birthday party at 6:00 pm at carnvilla hotel. Moreover, I have to go to purchase a gift for her. she is so excited about her birthday. I want to make her day so special as well as she told me that I have to come there as soon as earlier.
I can assure you that I would check my emails, perhaps reply to some of them and be available for emergency phone calls from the office. Once I complete my function and get back to the office, I would endeavor to come into the office earlier than usual and work Sundays in order to catch up on anything I had missed. I have already talked to Riya and she is ready to share some of the responsibilities during my absence.
I realise my temporary absence could be an inconvenience to you and the rest of the team, but I really need to take the leave to attend my family function.
I am looking forword to hearing from you and expecting your lind cooperation.
Yours sincerely,
Riddhi patel.
