Your best friend just had her first baby. You are currently overseas but will be returning to your hometown in a week.
Write to your friend. In your letter
congratulate your friend
tell her when you will be returning home
ask when you could drop in to meet her and the baby
Dear Allen,
When I heard that you have become a "Mother", I could not believe into m ears! You probably do not know that I've been in the US for a training but luckily I'll be back to Karachi by next week as the task will be completed.
It's a great feeling when your childhood friend become a mother. I want to congratulate you and your entire family on this occasion. I am sure Uncle and Aunty will be equally excited on the addition of new member in their house. Although they will not be able to sleep for longer hours in night due to baby's cry, yet they would have no regrets. It would be their happiness and joy which will be all over.
My training classes here at the US will be completed on 26th July and I am planing to take flight on the next day.
Will you be able to meet on 28th morning? I hope you would have taken doctor's appointments for post delivery check ups. please let me know the suitable time to catch up as I can't wait to see you and little one.
Best regards
Salem
