Your child’s school has arranged a trip abroad for students. The principal of the school asked some parents to join the trip to help. Write to the school principle and say
– Why do you want to join the trip?
– How could you help during the trip?
– Ask some questions about the trip.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this letter with regard to a trip to South Africa that Tran Phu high school has arranged for the students in October and I am very interested in joining.
The reason why I really want to participate in this trip is because this is a perfect chance for me to strengthen my relationship with my son, Nguyen Minh Tuan. it has been quite a long time since we last went abroad together seven months ago.
As I used to be a in a boy scout, I was taught a lot of fun mini-games and I still remember most of them. Therefore, I can help amuse the children while they are traveling to the destination. Moreover, I am very good at navigation so I can help my son’s team find the right directions when we go camping in the jungle.
I would like to ask for some detailed information so that I can arrange my work better. Please let me know the exact day that the trip will take place and also how long it will be. One last thing, do I have to pay for my own flight ticket as it has not been mentioned earlier.
I look forward to your response and to this trip.
Yours faithfully,
Truong
