Your local hospital has advertised people to do unpaid work helping at the hospital. You would like to do some work at the hospital in your free time.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I, Manpreet Singh, a resident of SBS Nagar, Ludhiana, Punjab, am writing this letter in response to recent advertisement by your hospital that you are looking for volunteers to do unpaid work. I consider this a great chance to serve patients and utilize my spare time in humanitarian work.
To begin with, I have been working as a volunteer since my childhood to make are society best place to live. By working in hospital, it would not only give me opportunity to help needy people, but also give me chance to learn a lot regarding medicines and various treatments. Moreover, I live nearby and after my office hours I have 3 hours on daily basis which I can spend in hospital to help your staff. I would like to use of my superfluous hours in philanthropic work.
I can assist a professional nurse, take care of babies, help patients to move and bring them meals. In addition to it, I would not hesitate, if any further responsiblity allocated to me. I would be available from next week, and can work 7:00pm to 10:00pm daily except weekend.
Hope to hear a positive response and looking forward to start my work soon.
