Do the benefits of increased security outweigh the drawbacks?
These days, the use of camera CCTV is becoming widespread in some public areas around the world to reduce the crime rates. However, some people argue that this surveillance violates individuals’ privacy because they are treated like criminals. Therefore, I deliberate that the installation of video cameras has more tangible benefits to protect citizens than the negative effects which relate to personal freedom.
