Additionally, genetically modified foods can be enriched with essential nutrients, potentially addressing nutritional deficiencies. For instance, genetically modified tomatoes may contain higher levels of iron, which can be beneficial for individuals with dietary deficiencies.
However, despite these benefits, the drawbacks of agro-industrial technology cannot be overlooked.
