Recently published figures show that the wildlife population around the world has decreased by around fifty per cent over the last fifty years. What can we do to help protect the wildlife round the world?
According to a recent study findings, animals population has declined by approximately 50% over the last fifty years. In order to preserve them, I firmly believe that government should impose severe punishment on hunting and poaching and tight restrictions on illegal smuggling of animals around the world by working with world wide federation.
Firstly, It has become quite common in every nation where every other week media highlights the plight of animal conditions and most of them were the cases associated with hunting. In a recent study published by American scientists, it has been found that about 100,000 animals were killed in United States in the year 2016. As a result, wildlife population is declining at a rapid pace in every country.
There are two main key areas on which every government and wildlife federation has to work closely so that we can conserve the wildlife species especially the endangered ones. First of all, government should put in place harsh rules and regulations on hunting and poaching so they think twice before commiting this heinous crime. Secondly, International bodies like World Wide Federation should work with every government to place stiff laws on the illegal smuggling of animals parts on different countries.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that if government can impose hard rules on hunting and poaching alongside with some tighter rules on illegal smuggling, then definitely we have a strong chance to restore animal life around the world.
