Write about the following topic:
People attend colleges or universities for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge etc.). Why do you think people attend colleges or universities?
You should give reasons for your answer using your own ideas and experience.
People attend colleges or universities for many different reasons. Most people have reasons such as career preparations, new experiences, and increased knowledge about the things they like.
The most popular reason for attending colleges or Universities for student is career preparation. Students want to prepare for their career & the best way to achieve that is by receiving guidance with the help of a qualified instructor who are available in the colleges.
They can receive guidance as to which career path they can chose according to their skills and interests or what is the scope of the career they have already chosen and where it will lead to in the future.
Another reason for people to join colleges or universities is to gain new experiences. They can experience what it is like to sit in a classroom and interact with different kind of people. To go on trips with your fellow classmates and enjoy. Preparing for an examination and to go through with it. Sometimes an individual must stay in a hostel away from your home with strangers, who in time will become your friends. One experiences how to become independent and learns how to navigate through the ups and downs of daily life.
Increasing knowledge is another reason for people to attend colleges or universities. Some people have a thirst for knowledge, they always want to learn more and know more. Sometimes people just want to know more about the things they have an interest in and sometimes they just want to know about some random things or facts, just for a change of pace, so that they can get out of their routine life.
There are many reasons for people to attend colleges or universities. It differs from person-to-person on whatever their reason might be. But it's always a good thing to gain more knowledge and experiences. In my opinion attending a college or university is always recommended.
