Your neighbours have recently written to you to complain about the noise from your house/flat. Write a letter to your neighbours. In the letter:
- Explain the reason for the noise;
- Apologize;
- Describe what action you will take.

Dear Ms or Mr Smith,

I am writing to you to apologize for the loudly noise that is disturbing you and forced you to notify me. Wasn’t my intention to upset the neighbourhood.

Let me explain in more details my situation. A few months back, me and my friends enrolled ourselves in a contest, in college, called Battle Band to compete among singers and performers for the winning prize: a thousand dollars. We got a lot of positive reactions and decided to give it a try on the musical industry. Since then, we were practicing to play in bars and events across town, and received a chance to play in Old Bar Alley, next to the sport centre in downtown next week.

However, in behalf of the member of the band, I apologize sincerely for all the noise and loud music, but we were rehearsing to play in this bar.

Would you kindly consider to wait until next week so we can find another place to practice? If not, we could go to one o four member’s house to play in his garage since the place is quieter and have few neighbours near by.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Rafael
