do you agree or disagree that professors should pay more to develop the educational system
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
To improve the quality of education, universities should spend more money on salaries for university professors.
We cannot turn a blind eye to the significant role of money in our life. However, is it fair to think that the professor’s compensation will develop the type of education? In my point of view, I personally believe that there are many other aspects we can concentrate on to achieve our goals in a learning system which I will explore in the following article.
To begin with, researches could be considered as one of the smartest ways to improve the educational pathway. through these researches we can resolve many problems or even prevent it. Therefore, when there are enough financial supports to these kinds of projects, that means we will have a new opportunity for inventions. For instance, when I was in fourth grade in dentistry college in Iraq. We started to hand on patients and we had many problems while using the manual equipment. Therefore, I was working with other professors in a research to develop the use of a rotary system ” An electric device used to clean the canals instead of the traditional manual ways.” Fortunately, the university has been accepted our suggestion to fund this project which in turn helped us to finish this research with wonderful results to minimize the complications and pain to the patient.
What’s more, hard work with no advanced tools or devices will restrict the results of work. Therefore, it is optimal important to support and supply the universities and schools with advanced equipment to achieve terrific results. For example, my sister is a pharmacist who works in pandemic disease labs in Dubai. She mentions that through the terrible situation of the COVID19, the government decided to support the university with advanced microscopes. The price for each one is one million dollars. However, it is worthy to spend money on these kinds of facilities because it will help the population in general even if they chance to discover the treatment or vaccine is little.
In conclusion, we cannot ignore the wonderful role of professors in the learning journey and therefore they have to be paid well. On the other hand, there are many other aspects should be considered like funding researches and equipment.
