Imagine that a professor requires students to learn as much as possible about a subject in a short period of life, is it better for the professor to require students to work together in a group or alone? Which option do you prefer and why? Use details and examples to explain your answers.

Living in the modern era, attending university is a so much promising step toward being successful in a career for students. Professors adopt approaches to teach lessons. According to me group discussions are more helpful rather than studying alone. I will elaborate on my reasons in the ensuing paragraphs.

Working in a group, students deeply understand by absorbing all the information about the topic. Group study will give chance to students to listen to other students’ distinct ideas. After sharing their ideas, finally, they can choose an effective way to attack the problems. Therefore, students will not forget those lessons which they have learned from a long discussion with their friends. Moreover, working collectively allow students to go beyond the project and explore more about a particular topic. Since some academic projects necessitate having several skills so as to carry out the project. If students do projects with the other students who are expert in skills, students can learn new skills from others.

Students also improve their communication skills by working in a group. In fact, participating in a discussion regarding the topic makes student confidence and teach them how to prepare their self for an oral presentation. In fact, socializing with group members in a scientific environment prepare students to confidently talk in public. For instance, I remember that we had a group in high school and everyone should lecture regarding scientific topic every week, as a result of which when I attend to university I hadn't a problem in my presentation. Moreover, students can cover their work in a short period of time. In teamwork, work get divided and students can focus on other subjects as well. Further, group study will help students quickly revise the whole topic. For instance, in my high school, I use to do a revision before an exam with my study group. It helps me to cover my whole course syllabuses in less time.

Let’s put in a nutshell, working together not only allow the student to understand the whole topic but also prepare them to become a sociable person even in their real life. Based on my reasons, I strongly believe that to cover the topic in a short period of time professors should advise students to do group study.

---------------------
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
