TPO 54 Task 1

TPO 54 Task 1

The reading and lecture are both about the problems that result from fast evaporation in the Salton Sea in California, the most critical issue is a decrease in fish and bird population. The author of the passage proposes three solutions while the lecturer disputes the claims made in the excerpt.
According to the reading, the high salt levels should be decreased with heating water of the lack and separate salt and other materials that would be condensed and returned to the lack. This fact is challenged by the lecturer. She claims that this leads to augment further materials such as poison materials.
Secondly, the author suggests that ocean water decreases the salt of the lake because it has fewer salt than the lake and the ocean water can transfer through canals. The lecturer, however, asserts that the distance of the ocean from the lake is far-reaching and the government should have cost so much and it is not affordable.
Finally, the author posits that dividing the lack to the several parts respectively small to large due to decreasing the salt level in the large section because the small part would be more condensed and the large part receives freshwater from the river. In contrast, the lecturer's stance is the small part is too weak and some natural accidents such as earthquakes could destroy the walls especially the small wall.

We are expecting: No. of Words: 350 while No. of Different Words: 200
Better to have 5 paragraphs with 3 arguments. And try always support/against one side but compare two sides, like this:

para 1: introduction
para 2: reason 1. address both of the views presented for reason 1
para 3: reason 2. address both of the views presented for reason 2
para 4: reason 3. address both of the views presented for reason 3
para 5: conclusion.

So how to find out those reasons. There is a formula:

reasons == advantages or

reasons == disadvantages

for example, we can always apply 'save time', 'save/make money', 'find a job', 'make friends', 'get more information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.

or we can apply 'waste time', 'waste money', 'no job', 'make bad friends', 'get bad information' as reasons to all essay/speaking topics.
