Dinosaurs are ectotherm or endotherm?

Essay topics:

Dinosaurs are ectotherm or endotherm?

This set of materials discuss about paleontology, which is the study of old bones and fossils. The reading passage claims that dinosaurs were cold blooded animals, which is also called as ectotherm. They believe that dinosaurs were ectotherm animals for two reasons. However, the lecturer finds all the idea dubious and provides some evidence to support the opinions of other scientists.
First of all, the article asserts that dinosaurs skeletons looked same as the lizards, claimed that cold blooded animals, and also scientists determine some similarities between lizards and dinosaurs. In contrast, the professor argue that both lizards and dinosaurs, which have similar bone structure, are warm blooded animals due to similarities on bones with endotherm animals. Hence, the first reason of the passage is not strong enough to dispute the idea that mentioned in the lecture.
Finally, it is mentioned in the passage that dinosaurs had been constantly motion because of not to lose heat. Conversely, the lecturer believes that the giant dinosaurs lived in both cold and warm climates. Due to living in every climatic conditions, dinosaurs cannot be cold blooded animals. This reason can be a good illustration why lecturer supports her idea.
