dinosaurs have capability of endothermic or not.
Author discusses the possibility about dinosaurs have capability of endothermic or not. To prove this, author provides various evidence to support this characteristic of dinosaurs. On the other hand, lecturer contradicts these evidence by mentioning the research methods and scientific study.
The first reason, author states that dinosaurs were endothermic, was endothermic characteristic of dinosaurs help them to maintain a temperature well above that of surrounding environment. However, lecturer contradict this statement by explaining that dinosaurs could have migrated to warmer place and didn't stay in the colder climates at Polar Regions.
Second reason was explaining the connection between endothermic and leg position and movement. This legs position and movement also matches with the dinosaurs. But the lecture suggests that this leg position helps dinosaurs to support more weight as being large is at advantage for them.
Thirdly, by describing the connection between endothermic and bone structure, author believes that endothermic bone structure have Haversian canals. Also, the dinosaurs have this Haversian canals inside their bone structure. The lecturer do support this theory that dinosaurs contain more Haversian canals but this also suggests that it is related to growth rings. These growth rings stopped growing during colder weather and again it grows in warmer weather. This growing, slowing, and again growing rings does not support in endothermic animals.
In the end, lecturer contradicts all the three major reasons explained the paragraph and deny the possibility that dinosaurs have endothermic capability, which is maintaining body temperature at constant.
