Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
In the past it was easier to identify what type of career or job would lead to a secure, successful future.
This statement is fundamentally correct; in the past finding job which lead you successful and secure was easier than the now; some people keep the view point that it is easier to find a good job and be successful in it than the before, but I totally disagree with them and I want to reinforce my view point front the following aspect.
The first reason why I totally agree with the statement is that in the past people most of the time chose their decendents career and job, since it would be easier to them to be successful because they used experiments of the ancestries and can adapted to the new development because there were a few occur on their career, while in the each passing day we see the changes in the world accelerate and you need to take yourself update if you want success in your job and career.
The later reason why I generally agree with the statement is that on the past you just to be familiar in your own major. However, now day's you need a broad view about the things which is related to tour major. For example, I'm a civil engineering and I work on the blockouts in the Guard rail if I want to be successful in my major, I must know about the material, about the climate that we design block out to it and the possible climate changes in the future during the inuse period so on and so on. Besides, you have to be capable to know the speed amount machines which want to use highway in the future.
Last but not the least, you need to be familiar to the most of the software in your major. Besides, able to write code in the C#, MATLAB, ABAQUS because it gets lots of costs if you want to experiment all of your design model. Therefore, we model them in one of the soft wares that I mentioned and the we just do experiment in which be performed successful in the software. However, in the past time you never need to know about all of these soft wares at all.
All in all, all the time if you want to be successful, you need to work hard and make new innovations in your career, but because of the new development in the scients and broading all of major to each other, it is harder than the before to be successful in your major and I believe it going to be harder in the future than now. In short, I totally agree with the statement based on the reason I mentioned above.
