Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
When teachers assign projects on which students must work together, the students learn much more effectively than when they are asked to work alone on projects.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
I do agree with the fact that students can learn much more effectively if provided an opportunity to unleash their skills as a team. this will gradually improve the widerness and in-depth understanding of a scholar in his area of interest. The potential benefit will be huge since they first split up their tasks. Making folks work together helps them explore each other's topics and teach his batch or project mate with the study of his own section.
From the delivery perspective, while doing as a team there will be continuous support from teammates for the project completion and to integrate the pieces together. In some cases, this works the other way. one person from a group takes the lead and presents the research done by other guys. To eliminate such stuff, the demonstration must be periodic, one person will not present two consecutive days.
Firstly, a learner will analyze the in-depth functionalities of his designated topic because he will end up in narrating the same to other people which very well assists him in recalling the facts he explored and projecting his collection of information in a much sensible way. Another major advantage gained while operating unitedly is, the individual need not to concentrate too much on many topics which will lead to uncertain knowledge in over all.
The second important fact is the credit. The claim of his explorations are always valuable only if documented in a larger mass which will be achieved only in collaborating the group projects and compiling them to a single entity. On a whole, over a period of time all the members of the project batch will be benefitted in some ways and they continue to possess some credit in the over all mark that they get.
Entire world is running because of team work. For example, in a football game, a single player cannot break all odds against his opponent team and score a goal. All he need is a team. The same concept applied here too .In education system, there are many examples of succession achieved being a team. The count of team members doesn't matter. It can be five or ten. A human always thinks and completes his task in a comfortable way when he is aware that he is backed up by couple of people which is collectively a team
