During the lecture it was discussed research that showed the pros and cons of teamwork in one company The opinion of the author contradicts the reading passage s ideas

Essay topics:

During the lecture, it was discussed research that showed the pros and cons of teamwork in one company. The opinion of the author contradicts the reading passage’s ideas.

The lecturer claims that some members of the group were not active participants, but eventually the recognition was assigned to the team as a whole. The reading passage claims that teamwork opens more possibilities for improvement for the project by the valuable range of knowledge and skill each member can possess. But in the lecture, we hear that work in groups took more time even on discussion steps of the projects, because more people need more time to find an agreement first.
The professors also mentioned that some people had a more essential impact on the work than others. Hence it was just an opinion with the plan or ideas, while other people’s views were ignored. Moreover, in the end, whether the project failed or succussed, the group result was validated, not individuals. On the contrary, in the text the author claims that some people can contribute and be highly recognized for their work, but not as a team.
Thus, statements made by the author in the text are countered with relevant evidence by the lecturer in the aforementioned way.
