Summarize the point of the lecture and the reading about movie, Gone with the wind.
Cinematography industry is one of the most important nowadays. Technology, life events, story-telling, makes it a terrific world with his own personal experiences.
Gone with the wind is an example of evolution demonstrating how things change for in different directions.
The lecturer challenges the ideas in the writing about the characters and the way the scenes are planned to affect society.
First, the author describes the main characters, named or nameless, that are part of this cast. It is mentioned a racist behave of one of the characters making the movie not very kind for the southern society. This argument is challenged by the lecturer. He says that is it part of the script and the role of that actor is to bring out to light the reality. Furthermore, he says that some part of the role it is improvised to make it more dramatic and get you more involved in that story.
Secondly, the writer contends that the infancy of the cinema is correlated to some acts that make us reflect and a look at things from a different point of view. For example, the role of slaves, always being used and underestimated, being slapped on
the face right there in the movie may seem very racist from that part of society. The lecturer, however, rebuts this by asserting that it was a great progression for the community. He elaborates on this by mentioning that many new job position were opened for black people regarding to the white supremacy, Let's point out the black lady that won the price inthe academy. By showing another part of life and picking the best actors, people that belong to the real life story, everythoing will come more organic.
Finally, it is statedd in the article that looking back at this industry should not make us proud but still it is noticeable how far we have come. The lecturer on the other hand., posts that it is an absolutely normal way to progress, leave everything behind, and admire this roles and the way thy made all the communities together.
