Summarize the points in the lecture making sure how they cast points on the reading passage.
The reading mentions that soalr and wind are not constant source's of energy so we need to use lithium batteries as a new renewable source of energy. But as lithium is scarce and expensive and also it can't be used in all industries like avaition it is not a practical idea. The lecture mentions that batteries are the new forms of energy We can use other sources to create energy instead of lithium.
The paragraph states that there is a loss of energy when we store it in a battery and the material is not ideal for this reason. And also there are not other minerals which are closer to lithium in usage for batteries. The professor in the lecture mentions that the loss of energy in the battery is very minimal and that loss is cheaper compared to the usage which it provides.
Secondly, the reading states that lithium is a rare mineral and in the future we would be having shortage of lithium coming soon. So they think that lithium is not a future for the batteries but we must store our energy in some form. And because it is expensive it would result in loss for the renewable sources industry. Whereas the lecture states that instead of lithium we can use liquid metal, hydrogen cells and caves for the source of energy. They mention that caves are a good option for this because we can compress air in the caves and place a turbine into it which will generate electricity and this would be made used in industries.
The paragraph says that we can't have lithium batteries in palnes because it would make them heavy for take off. It also says that aviation is a form to connect the world and not installing batteries in this makes it unpractical. Instead the lecture mentions that we can use hydrogen cells in planes. Hydrogen cells are light in weight, so they won't be too heavy for the planes as well they would be costing much lesser than lithium batteries.
So, the paragraph mentions that lithium batteries are not good because lithium is scare and expensive and also it can't be made use in all the industries like aviation. In opposite the lecture suggests that instead of lithium we can make use of hydrogen cells, liquid metal and caves for generating renewable form of energy. And we can use hydrogen cells in the avaition industry as they are light in weight.
