The reading claims that creating a new kind of broccoli which can plant and grow in East Coast of the United States has several benefits. Nonetheless, the lecturer finds all the ideas dubious and presents some evidence to refute them all.

Furthermore, the reading passage holds the view that owing to using traditional breeding techniques rather than argumentative genetic modification technology, people will have more tendency to purchase. In contrast, the speaker underlines the fact that it will be created by the same company which utilize genetic modification technology. Consequently, folks may reject this new broccoli as a yield of being the product of the same company.
