The reading and the lecture both talk about a fossil skeleton of a dinosaur called Sinosauropteryx which discovered in China. The reading suggests that Sinosauropteryx was not a feathered dinosaur; however, the professor states that the critics are persuasive.
The reading and the lecture first discuss about the skin. The reading claims that the fine line formed after the dinosaur died when its skin decomposed into fibers. The lecture, on the other hand, says that about the condition of volcano ash. She mentions the other animal in that environmental have functional skin structure which preserved there.
Second, the reading and the lecture talks about which part it would be. The reading claims that scientists are not sure what part of the dinosaur's anatomy the structures were.
