First of all, the writer suggests that the distance among living place of norse and the maine site most be consider because it is more than a normal amount to walk by ancient people. The speaker views this issue from an opposite angle, according to him, native americans traveled great distances and changed the place of many other objects during the time.

The second point offered by the author is that a problem of founding any other coins in connection to the case. Conversely, the lecturer casts doubt on this assumption by saying that there is no evidence to prove a stable place that be for norse to live in. Thus, they didn't have permanent settlement and it is possible for them to change their habitat.

Third, the reading passage proposes that silver coins were priceless and the native americans did not pay attention of them as a kind of money.
