glass and birds injuries

The reading and the listening passages have a doubt on effective ways done on glass for preventing birds damages. The writer puts forward 3 main hypothesis which refuted by following speaker.

First, the writer suggests that using one-way glass instead of usual ones provides situation which the birds can not see inside the homes but people can easily observe out side. As a result, they will be safe from hinting to them. However, the speaker views this issue from opposite angle. According to him, one-way glass reflexes light like a mirror and the birds thinks that it is sky or tree. Thus, it is more common that bird fly toward the one-way glass and hint with it.

The second point offered by the writer is that applying colorful designs for glasses hinders birds for passing through them; but let the people to see the other side of window. On the contrary, the speaker casts doubt on this assumption by saying that the birds may want fly through the designs and size of these pictures must be small enough to prevent them from choosing this work. by decreasing size of designs, seeing out is harder for people.

Last, the writer opposes magnetic field technique in glass for inheriting birds for to them. On the other hand, the speaker holds an opposite view. He explains that birds use magnetic field for far distances and for short ones inside towns and cities they use from their eyes for navigating. Therefore, this proposal is not benefit.
