The line graph show the information about worldwide water use in three main sectors for over a century and the consumption of water in Brazil and Congo in 2000 shown in the table.
For over a century there was an increase in global water usage by agricultural, industrial, and domestic sector. The influx in agriculture almost double the amount of global water usage in both industrial and domestic use, with the later had the lowest usage. On the other hanf, the water consumption in Congo was drastically lower compared to Brazil who had a bigger population and irrigated land than the former.
In 1900, the industrial and domestic use of global water usage was at a meager 10km3 while agriculture already used for almost 500km of water. Throughout the years until 1950, there was only a few increase in industrial and domestic use, while for agriculture use there was a steady increase until the water usage reached 1,500km in 1960. In 2000, agricultural had the biggest water usage worldwide with 3000km followed by industrial use and domestic use at 1000km and 500km respectively.
In Brazil, with 176 million populatuon, they consumed 359m water per person and 8m water per person for Congo, with less population than Brazil. The difference in irrigated land is 265 times bigger in Brazil, while Congo only had 100km area to be irrigated.
