The table shows source of student income over a five-year period in the United States.

The table represents the information about the four main sources of income to support student’s expenses from 2010 to 2015 in the United States.
Overall, the main form of income source has been changed over five decades; the grant was the main source of income in 2010 and earnings but bank loan was becoming the main form of income sources by 2015.
Looking in details, grants were the main source of income for US students in 2010 (of 52 students supported by it) and which number decreased systematically to 16 students by 2015. The next highest income source was parental contribution in 2010 where 32 students supported by this method. However, this number declined steadily and 25 students were supported by their parents in 2015. The lowest income sources in 2010 were bank loan and earnings where only 6 and 10 students supported by this method respectively and this number rose substantially to over 29 students for bank loan supports and 30 students supported by own earnings by 2015.
In conclusion, the total amount of income received or earned by students increased relatively over five year periods from $9153 to $11563.
