Nowadays, parents argue that children should learn how to be good human in society. This may be true. School is the best place to learn because they could meet different people in their age who have different characteristic and ethnic. Even though they learn how to interact and act in the environment, school also gives some bad effects.
It is sometimes said that students would acquire how to face other students in different habit because they come from different district. Nevertheless, if students do not understand their friends characteristic, they would imitate others behavior because different students have different comprehension to conceive the others, especially in speech. For instance, friends speak impolite, it could generate pupils to have bad manner in speaking. In school, students have different clan such as bataknese and sundanese. There is a student who is a bataknese, she speaks loudly because it was his culture, and there is a sundanese who speaks softly. When a sundanese student could not adapt, the way of friends speak would generate him to talk loudly in his life such in the home and in the public place whereas their parents or environment could not adapt it.
Eventually, students would understand to act with their friends and learn from their mistake experience step by step. However, students like to be a follower. First, they would become stubborn because there are many obstinate students and they would follow their friends if they could not adaptation. If their friends do not join the class, they also become disobedient. Then, they would be indiscipline. They could smoke while they are taking a rest even though there is a rule which does not allow students to smoke.
