The charts below show the levels of participation in education and science in developing and industrialized countries in 1980 and 1990.
The given bar charts compares the educational involvement of students total years of schooling and also they participated in science and technical subjects and study in industrialized and developing countries year between 1980 to 1990.
As observed from first graph, the average years of schooling in developing countries was only above 2 years while it was above 8 years in industrialized countries in 1980. After 10 years, the number of the year in average schooling increased in both developing and industrialized countries and reached almost above 3 years in developing countries and above 10 years in industrialized countries.
According to second bar graph, the number of scientists and technician were much higher in industrialized countries compare with developing countries. The scientist and technician were less than 20 per 100 people in developing countries in both year 1980 and 1990.
Finally in third graph, it can be seen clearly that spending on research and development was much better in industrialized countries. In 1980, they spending 50 US billion $ in developing countries but it decreased drastically half 25 US billion $ in 1990. While in industrialized countries climbed higher and reached above 300 US billion $ in 1990.
