According to the figures, the top core factors which cause to reducing the productivity of arable lands in three distinguished districts over a 10 years period have been demonstrated.
In one look, it could be seen that Europe have the biggest destructed area between the two other regions and the main reasons of land degradation belong to “over-grazing” and “over-cultivation”.
Regarding the pie graph, the two highest cause of lands reducing efficient in this ranking are “over-grazing” and “over-cultivation”, with 3% and 30% respectively. On the other hand, these two items have devastated the majority of worldwide regions. Due to the tables, the rate of influenced area by these factors in Europe saw the highest rise, with 13%. Oceania and North America are located at the second and third place, with 11.3% for former and 4.8% for later.
The table indicates that “Deforestation” in Europe is the integral role of degradation, with 9.8%. However, North America has the lowest percentage of tree cutting, with only 0.2%. Furthermore, the pie chart indicates deforestation is the third reason, with 2% less than over-cultivation (30%). In addition, the “Other” has a negligible ratio and does not have an enormous impact on lands.
