Should wealthy nations be required to share their wealth among poorer nations by providing such things as food and education? Or is it the responsibility of the governments of poorer nations to look after their citizens themselves?
Our globalizing world is enhancing day by day, but this global trend creates the great gap between poor and wealthy countries in terms of being provided by some facilities. And people have different views about it if wealthy countries should share their resources among poorer nations or not. I strongly believe that, poorer nations need rich countries’ help. And I will try to explain my viewpoint below.
On one hand, there is an obvious difference between poor and wealthy countries. While citizens in developed countries have high standard of living, people in poorer nations suffer from bad economic conditions as well as the quality of life. Generally, the governments of poorer nations did not supply its citizens with some basic words such as food, education, medicine and etc. Due to income of these governments it is not impossible to provide people such facilities. In addition, this help may create the trade relationship among these countries. If wealthy countries share their wealth with poor countries and they will have an access to cheap labor and plentiful resources. Therefore, developed countries should support to developing countries by providing such facilities.
On the other hand, the governments of poorer nations should take the responsibility to look after their people. Otherwise, if developed countries support to developing countries forever, they may become dependent on the aid. Consequently, developing countries must try to improve their economic condition and the standard of their people’s living.
In conclusion, It seems to me that, rich nations should help poorer nations and even from this support rich countries may take a benefit. Lastly, sharing a better world is not only a good deed but also a duty.
