Apparently, there has been a debate about the benefits of buying the franchise , how franchises may help people to start their own business safely. The author adopts an opinion support buying the franchise, while the professor tried to convince their students to opposite side of view.
First of all, the issue about the providing with equipment and supplies, the professor contends that franchise forces their user to buy a very specific items in over price, even though, the presence of these items in the market in lower price. So what the reading state about the benefits of getting appropriate supplies, practically not true.

By this point, the listening approves the benefits from franchise' advertising is just a myth.
