The diagram shows how the Australian Bureau of Meteorology collects up-to-the-minute information on the weather in order to produce reliable forecasts.
The chart below shows the process of getting information about the broadcasted
weather. This process contains four steps like: incoming information, forecasting , preparing the broadcast and broadcasting. Firstly, Australian Bureau of Meteorology collects up-to-the-minute information on the weather from different sources such as satellite, radar and drifting buoy. Imported information can be in different forms, especially, manifested as photos, screens and charts. For instance, they take satellite photo from satellite ,radar screen from radar ,and make synoptic chart based on drifting buoy.
Then, they are being analyzed and passed to one centre, to be more precise, to the computer where all information is centralized. After this step, based on all these information Australian Bureau of Meteorology prepares broadcast.
Subsequently, the result of all these stages, prepared information, becomes ready for introducing to people. There are different ways of broadcasting. The most widely used ones are TV ‘, radios and recorded announcements.
