The bar chart illustrates the number of population and the rate of birth and death in an area of UK in four different years: 1700, 1800, 1900 and 2000.
As can be seen from the chart, there was an upward trend in population size and the birth rate was always higher than the death rate throughout the examined years.
It is also clear that standing at lowest point with 1,5 in 1700, the number of people experienced a steady increase in the area of UK by 1 each 100 year from 1700 to 2000, with 4,5 at the end of the period.
Another noticeable point from the chart is that the rate of birth and death concurrently reached the highest in 1800 at 0,65 and 0,45 respectively. Additionally, while the death rate was the lowest at roughly 0,3 among four years, the birth rate was still high with about 0,6 in 2000.
