The chart below shows the number of travellers using three major airports in New York City between 1995 and 2000
The bar chart compares how many visitors used three different important airports in New York City over a period of 6 years.
It is clear that all the number of travelers of these airports increased considerably over the period shown. Additionally, LaGuardia was the most popular airport for passengers.
In 1995, the number of visitors choosing the LaGuardia airport was highest, at about 36 million, while the figure for the Newark was significantly lower, at only around 17 million. Meanwhile, about approximately 28 million passengers who used the John F. Kennedy airport. In 1997, the figures for the John F. Kennedy, the LaGuardia, the Newark all witnessed increases.
Between 1998 and 2000, the number of travelers using the LaGuardia continued to grow to 68 million and became the highest figure in the chart, whereas the John F. Kennedy's figure saw a considerable rise to roughly 43 million in 2000. At the same time, the figure for the Newark remained stable at slightly above 40 million.
