Interestingly, the proportion of consumed animal products was nearly similar in India and the world average at 27 and 26 per cents, while this figure was substantially less in China at only 15 per cent in the given year. Also, there was a notable difference in the proportion of consumed nuts and seeds; the world average was as much as 4 per cent, whereas this figure was much higher in both China and India at 19 and 11 per cents, respectively.
