The charts below show the percentage of time younger and older people spend on various Internet activities in their free time.
Given are the pie-charts providing the distribution of time spent on the Internet by the young and old generation. It is clearly visible that the proportions of each group marginally differ.
A glance at the chart reveals that, the majority of people (24%) between 18 and 26 visit social networks while older people who are included into the 60-70 age groups prefer to book places at cinemas, travel etc. Furthermore, the second biggest share in terms of younger generations belongs to accessing media files with 21 % and it is marginally ahead of researches on the Internet (20 %). According to the first chart it can also be observed that, they spent 18 % of their time on playing games followed by purchasing some goods and booking places which indicates 12 % and 5 %, respectively.
In comparison with the young, older people are more likely to spend vast of their time on researching (26 %) and consuming goods (14%), whereas the other percentages showing playing games (6 %) and visiting social networks (8%) are almost three times less than younger people.
