The pie charts show the average consumption of food in the world in 2008 compared to two countries: China and India
The graph depicts the information about the foods % consumed in the world, compared to China and India over the period. Overall, it was immediately apparent that there was a largest percentage of processed food consumed in the world including in China and India compared to other foods.
In 2008, the processed food had a greater proportion in the world, India, and China, with 41 %, 39%, 34% respectively, where the figure for the world was the maximum recorded. In China, fewer animal food was consumed, only at 19 %. While that in the world and India, food for animal about 26% and 27%, a much higher than In China.
On the other hand, In the world and India, the figure for Nuts and Seeds had smallest proportion of food consumption, accounting for 4%, 11% each. In addition, the consumption of vegetables in the world and China was higher, compared to India, with 29% (In the world, 32% (in China), and only 23 % (In India).
